Cable Cradles elegant design effectively isolates cables by softly cradling them with isolation effective to 3 Hz. Set of 8 works great for most 6 to 10 ft (2-3m) cables. The improvement is obvious, not subtle. 100% Satisfaction Money Back Guaranteed. Contact Us for more or less to accommodate any cable length.
"Just came today. I like them already! Oddly helped my brightness become more full. Or is it a less muddy bass? Still early. Thank you!!"
Cables flow freely, supported and isolated with Cradles.
These bespoke Cable Cradles are honestly a fantastic product. I can't imagine any other cable isolation/elevation product performing better than these, and especially anywhere near this price range. Attractive, minimalist and effective design, and the rubber-like grip on my wooden floor was an unexpected bonus feature. They are smaller and sleeker than I imagined from the photos. I have my critical components on Townshend Seismic isolation pods, including power amplifier, and my speakers on Seismic Bars, and these cradles fulfill my ideal complimentary vibration isolation tweak to complete the entire chain's isolation factor at the highest level. Very fast shipment, and Chuck proactively sent some information and instructions with the tracking number. Thanks Chuck. These should fly.
Same great performance in a slightly smaller size. Great for power cords and interconnects of all kinds.
Phono leads- a phono lead touching anything anywhere along its length is mechanically transmitting vibration into the tone arm. The cartridge is attached, and so this seemingly unrelated vibration becomes part of the music signal. The phono stage then amplifies this thousands of times. No wonder phono lead isolation is such a huge improvement. If you have a turntable it is highly recommended this is the first thing to do after speaker cables.
Interconnects- analog or digital, RCA or XLR, short or long, the signal carried by interconnects is the next most fragile and amplified, second only to phono leads. It is crucial that these be isolated in order to eliminate ringing from touching anything, since even seemingly stable racks and shelves will ring and resonate in sympathy with wires and anything else touching them. Much of what we think of as unwanted coloration in interconnects is in fact a result of poor vibration control that results in resonant ringing.
Power cords- It may not seem there is much to be gained here. Our testing however shows that once the rest of the system is isolated then treating power cords yields further big gains.
Interconnect Cradles are designed to perform well with the full range of power cords and interconnects currently on the market. Some however are so stiff and inflexible they may require more Cradles or closer spacing to achieve the desired routing. Please use the Contact Us box for any questions. We welcome the opportunity to create custom designs specifically tailored to your application. Same great performance, same great price.
First listen with the Cable Cradles in. Immediate effect, several layers of grunge and haze that I hadn't noticed before have been removed. Especially obvious during complex material.
Seems like a +3dB overall increase without even touching the volume knob.
These improved spatial cues of the recording venue, leading edge attack and note decay. Music just floats. Just like the Cable Cradles for speakers, these mini-cradles for the phono cable refines every sonic aspect one wishes for in their system. It relieves all strain, stress and congestion that presents as a fuzzy haze and grunge you never knew was there prior to isolating the cable.
Tighter focused body, richness and tone when called for. Musical density with clarity and sublime timing, no smearing- everything just snaps together perfectly.
Lubomir Dostal, a PhD in physics, invented his M101 cable technology. Remarkable stuff, it features individual strands in a helix insulated with air. Proud to say, Millercarbon was first to review these ground breaking cables right here on the site. His independent testing led him to the same conclusion, that isolation is of paramount importance in bringing out the best from quality high end components. Everything in his system is effectively isolated on Townshend Pods and Podiums, and Millercarbon Cable Cradles.
The photo above shows how beautifully the Cable Cradles elegant minimalist design gets out of the way visually- very much like the way they help your cables get out of the way of your music sonically. Eminently functional, they're there, but not 'in your face' there. No more clunky elevators!
Stay tuned for our next show, where we hope to display custom Cradles designed to hold cables at different heights for more complex systems!
Hand made manufacture has its disadvantages, but one of the nicer benefits is being able to do custom designs. Lubos was real happy with the sonic performance of standard Cable Cradles, but wanted some in a taller height to help maintain spacing where cables cross over each other.
No problem, and a taller version of the same great design is shown here for the first time at Capital Audiofest. Once again the M101 room shows attention to vibration control, with all components isolated on Townshend Pods and Podiums, and Millercarbon Cable Cradles.
Being the M101 room of course the whole point is to showcase the great M101 cables. So no Cable Cradle demo- sorry! But Lubos uses them because his cables sound the best on Cradles.
He did do a demo of his new Ethernet cable, which by all accounts was jaw-dropping. One attendee said he was sure all cables were snake-oil until he heard the Ethernet demo, and the improvement was too obvious to ignore. Being all analog Millercarbon has at present had no opportunity to compare. Having heard the other M101 cables however it is hard not to believe the Ethernet cable isn't another hit.
Silversmith Fidelium are some great high value speaker cables. They are quite different construction than conventional stranded cables. They do however still benefit greatly from quality isolation. This calls for a new isolation design. Their popularity drives demand, and so we came up with the solution: Millercarbon Ribbon Hangers.
Designed specifically for ribbon type cables, these hangers are even softer and more compliant than Cable Cradles. This perfectly suits the lighter weight Fideliums. Your ribbons slide into clips of just the right size, and the Hangers are designed to hold your ribbons vertically for the best appearance and performance.
They come with the same 100% Satisfaction or your money back guarantee.
Silversmith Fidelium on Ribbon Hanger
Mike's run was short, he only needed three per side. Even so, his review: "I have a set and they made an immediate obvious improvement in separation, clarity, and imaging. Not subtle, obvious."
